Thanks for sharing the Graph , Now what I can understand from this Graph is that the last date of filling for AOS was April 30 2001 but PD may have been assigned to the day there forms were opened an that can be August 2001 . If that is the case then we certainly have August as a heavy Month and as the Graph Ploughs down we may have better speed in coming months. Just my Guess

please check this attached file as an evidence....this graph is officially published by USCIS......

August 1st of 2001 was when the USCIS finished counting the LIFE Act petitions (there was just too many of them), but it is still the rule for USCIS to process (or begin to process) the LIFE Act petitions by May 1st of 2001 when LIFE Act program formally ended. Thus, about six months after the PD of May 1st, 2001 have passed we can say that most, if not all, of the LIFE Act beneficiaries have adjusted their statuses with a degree of certainty.

Like I have said previously, it's been cumulatively over 9 months since the Retrogression of 2011 when PD of May 1st, 2001 came up. I do think that it's likely for all of the LIFE Act beneficiaries to have finished their AOS by now. But we need to wait till October to have a clearer idea about the future progression of the PD movement when new quota will be available, though that still doesn't negate the possibility that the PD can again slow down, let alone that of another retrogression.

* Graph was published by anti-immigration research institution CIS, allegedly based on the BCIS (now USCIS) data.

But from 2001 to 2005 we see a decrease in the number of receipts/petitions, from which we can infer if the VB moves past 2001, then we might see an increase in the visa movement..

Can anybody post any official document about how CSPA works in case of RETROGRESSION ? Please mind i know the normal CSPA law but I want official document what happens to CSPA in case of retrogresion

If your PD had been current before the retrogression, then your age was automatically locked.
