i get a news from the World daily that a singel act will vote in the House on this weekend(26-27 June) and the content of the act is just about what i said above ,That means all f4s will be canceled from Oct next year..have you guys got that news? I hope it will not be passed in the House if the news is real .

The Interpretation and implication of this single act was not done properly..the daily wants to create some senational news..yes.gif

Good Luck..good.gif

Grant,as what you said ,may i regard that news just as a lie made by World Daily?

Joy Fly...you need to take a chill pill pal.

Relax.

As we have all mentioned here...no one knows the true effect on the F4 category but it is as clear as water that this category will only be eliminated 18 months AFTER the bill is in place. Otherwise why would they allow US citizens to continue to sponsering there siblings after the bill is in place for the period of 18 months? Simple maths shows if the bill is in place by October this year...then the F4 category can not be eliminated October next year...that is only 12 months...

There are many newbies here and some that do not understand the bill or law that well...have some consideration before posting comments that will cause a panic...then we have a ton of people asking the same question for which has been answered a dozen times.

Sit tight and wait till the bill gets to the House, then read up on here what possible amendments will be.

Try reading material from sources that are reliable like Bloomberg or AILA.

Hi everybody, I am also trying to figure out this new reform about siblings.. I have a question, if someone could help. I will be passing citizenship test on july and I also would love to bring my brother to usa. I just read this:

Siblings: Family-based immigration for siblings will be eliminated. U.S. citizens with sibling petitions currently pending will be able to complete their application of sponsorship but the sibling category will be eliminated 18 months after the bill is enacted.

Is this mean that after the bill is enacted I can still be able to apply for my brother in this 18 months period? As I understood everybody who are already in process will be clear etc..now if I apply in this period is my brother will have to wait 10 years to come here or it will be faster? Please if someone now how is that works?

Thank you so much everybody and good luck to all of you smile.png
