Family Preference Data for Phillipines

Retrogression happened on July 2003 and lasted till March 2004..

Family Preference Data for Mexico

Retrogression happened on July 2005 and lasted till April 2006..

Family Preference Data for China

Retrogression happened on July 2006 and lasted till December 2007..

Any Analysis..?

From November Visa Bulletin to December Visa Bulletin, the F4 visa number did not move from JAN 02..:o

the F4 visa number did not move from JAN 02....the saga continues..:o

...:(

..the saga continues..:o

...As such i have gone through the consulate interview schedules for every month, may be after all this the Visa Priority dates might move forward..My Blind Faith..:innocent:

March 2011 Visa Bulletin

For me the mystery is still there...:innocent:

In the past data analysis, after retrogression happened, the priority dates moved around a month in the successive bulletins. :bonk:

But right now even after the retrogression, the F4 PD is same for the last 2 months....sudden jump forward in the PD might be also feasible..

Maybe we can see a lull before the storm...

March Visa bulletin Sucks........................ :bonk:

True, as of now, it sucks big time..:o

Thanks. I called NVC and they said that case is not yet transferred to embassy overseas, it is at NVC and there is no approximate time when it would be transferred to embassy.

For now i am thinking of calling DOS later.

Will VB Retrogression affect my case?I am thinking answer is yes as i cannot get visa until priority date is current.

Thank you

uday

You said u r not in a hurry...:)

I am in last year of my graduation; my finals are in JUNE 2011.

It was my misconception that i might get a interview in march or april.

I was thinking of getting visa around june as i would not be able to go overseas before june, that is why i was in no hurry.

But for now if the same trend continues i dont know how much months i would be wasting after graduation. :o

Brother your B1/B2 visa will not be affected with your case.

I with personal experience is letting you know this.

I-130 was filed in 2001 for me and for my family.I went to US twice, once in 2007 and 2009 with no problems at all.I got visa in april 2007 itself,so no worries.

However you must let us know that your case is at NVC? or your I-130 is still pending?

-Uday

Thanks for your message, I also noted from reading the entire thread that other people also got non-immigrant visas and were able to travel to the US while the process was pending.

I haven't filed yet, planning on doing it this month. Long wait ahead....lol
