Hi all, I'm a newbie to this site and I've been reading the comments on this topic...some very good points and people with alot of knowledge around the topic of immigration!

I have a query about the new immigration bill in relation to F4's which are pending less than 5 years - if this bill is enacted, what happens to those petitions? My PD is Jul 2011 and the recent changes made to S.744 are not very clear.

Merit system Track One is very specific in that if you have a pending or approved petition in another immigration category you are not eligible to apply. This track one is for future fillings under new rules. Track Two however will allow those cases that have been pending for 5 years but what about those that have been pending for less than that time?

The strangest point I have found so far in the document in relation to Track Two is the following: "Beneficiaries of current F3/F4 petitions pending 5 years and filled AFTER enactment". Ok so this address those petitions filled in after the enactment and have been pending 5 years...but there is no clarification for those petitions filled before enactment and are pending less than 5 years?

If anyone is any clearer on this topic I would be grateful to hear your thoughts.

Thanks

Hello All,

I hope you're all doing good. Our PD is August 28, 2004 (08/28/2004). I know its hard to estimate, but when do you guys think our PD will become current? Also if CIR passes, how long until we get called in for interview and such.

I turn 20 on May 11th, and than will turn 21 next year :(, I was wondering what kind of advice would you give for CSPA?

Thank You in Advance for any replies!

Best Regards,

Tony!

No interview letters so far (after zero movement last month). Have they already exhausted the 65000 quota for F4 for the current fiscal? That would mean that we would not see any movement til Oct bulletin.....

Or till CIR is passed....
