wait untill CIR COme out.,

it will bring lot of benifits for legal immigrants.

Pak2002 bro then we would be lucky immigrants , if we got some benefits from it.

I hope AP would end after this bill.

Pak2002 , what is your opinion about AP.

what is the percentage of the people getting their Visa before 6 months in AP???

Dua ,

TOEFL and GRE test.

GRE test for the students who are willing to take admission in Master program will enhance you and will increase your chances for admission.

TOEFL is not necessary but GRE is necessary for the students trying to get admission in master program.

Admission procedure is quiet easy and on merit in USA.

they will count your G.P in Bachelors programs , make it equivalent to their standards.

Then if you will have GRE and TOEFL scores , that will be also counted.

Then your university test and interview will also be counted.

After this long but easy process , then they will decide about your admission.

Kindly , start preparing for GRE exam. because GRE is very difficult , especially critical portion of GRE.

If you have done bachelors in art , science then GRE is compulsory

and if you have done bachelors in commerce field , then you will take GMAT.

Google is always there to help you. you can search more comprehensively on Google.

Thanks for sharing.. I too agree with you that GRE is a difficult entity itself, however i have some queries for you to answer=)

I suppose that GRE is an entity to be met as an International Student Right??. If we are going as an immigrant still we need to fulfill the international students requirement?..I guess than whats the purpose of the whole wait:(

Just to brainstorm you, after how much time will we be able to avail the permanent resident facilities? In short, can we study as a local student there and pay local fees??

lastly, I agree that we need show our proficiency of English at a university since we are immigrants and our mother tongue is not English. at times there are waivers for TOEFL/IELTS too if the medium of instruction was English at your university. same was my case. can this waiver work??

well, I hope you are able to answer my queries.

Thanks for your time.

The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in the United States.

It doesn't matters if you are on student visa or immigrant , this test is requirement for most of the universities.

yes you will get your SSN and green card in 1-2 months , you can study at local low rates in your home state.

My home state is Maryland , because my aunt had sponsored us from maryland.

you can study at low local rates in your home state in public universities (government universities)

and if you will go outside your state in some other states , rates will vary.

And I don't know about the waiver of TOEFL.

But you can easily score great in TOEFL , and that will help you.

instead of difficult path choice the easy and straight one.
