You see the advance notification from visa bulletin for next three months which will be 1 week each month and later if it advance 1 month then in April it will be for priority date June 2001

Thats what i told you..wait untill 26 december 2012.

BIA had 90 days for appeal but BIA DID,T NOW 60 days gone and just 30 remain.

I tried calling number630-334-0700 of NVC for getting update but instaed of automated 24 hours number it turned out to beoperator & she wouldn't talk to me as i am not a beneficiary or peteioner& if i call it during non working hours no one answers the phone. Thank you pak2002 for the reply. it shows that forum is not dead & people are trying to help each other to understand the whole system. Now about your questions.

My Proiority date is nov 2002, category F4. So it is not current now.

& I have NOT reveived any communication from nvc. but i know that next communication that i will receive is called "Instruction Packages (Packet 3)" (This name is generally used by people & i have read it many times in posts by vj members).

Till yest i understood my next step as follows

1. i am supposed to receive that packet 3 from nvc, approx 6 months before i get actual interview date allocated & this marks begining of process at NVC

2. At that time i will send ds3032(choice of agent form) & fill out ds230-Part 1 & the sponsor is supposed to submit I 864, Affidavit of support.

3. Than they again take 2-3 months to process & than send me confirmation, that all paerwork at nvc is done (hoping i don't get RFE) & we will notify you once your date becomes current.

4. Than within 1-2 months, i wil get visa interview date.

Now i was just casually going through the next document that i am supposed to send & find out that i send DS230, part1 & some other documents even if i dont recive anything from nvc. i came to this conclusion because of the folowing sentence that i found in the form from mumbai consulate

To answer you yes I have 16 years of education and my bachelors is equivalent with their bachelors, So I am eligible for masters there hopefully., I too agree with you that theses test are for student visa but I am just worried if someone go there as an family immigrant and would like to study and then they demand TOEFL or IELTS as an admission requirement then at the eleventh hour we have to give the test.

So i need clarification on this point dear that can we get admission in their university without these test if we go as an immigrant??? Please satisfy my query., thnx in advance

TOEFL and GRE test.

GRE test for the students who are willing to take admission in Master program will enhance you and will increase your chances for admission.

TOEFL is not necessary but GRE is necessary for the students trying to get admission in master program.

Admission procedure is quiet easy and on merit in USA.

they will count your G.P in Bachelors programs , make it equivalent to their standards.

Then if you will have GRE and TOEFL scores , that will be also counted.

Then your university test and interview will also be counted.

After this long but easy process , then they will decide about your admission.

Kindly , start preparing for GRE exam. because GRE is very difficult , especially critical portion of GRE.

If you have done bachelors in art , science then GRE is compulsory

and if you have done bachelors in commerce field , then you will take GMAT.

No man you must not send anything to nvc because nvc sent Ds.3032 form or choice of agent till July 2002 applicant..

You must wait untill nvc send your Ds.3032..

When retrogreesion was mad feb2011 Nvc only send Ds.3032 PD JULY2002 not anymore...

When visa bulletin will move fast then you can expect your documents processing.but yet not.

Dont contact nvc untill nvc contact you by self.
