Thanks Just a clarification on point one: Principal Applicant does she/he need to show income or funds? Is it a must? How much roughly ok?

ANS 1: The principal applicant does,t need to show his/her income if he/she has too much money then he can show if petitioner AOS is not sufficient and not meeting POVERTY guide line there is no problem for showing his/her fund SO ITS Mean that his/her money also supportable for intending immigrants.

if you want to DO TOEFL OR IELTS its up to you and if you want to get admission in US FOR MASTER PROGRAM THEN YOU MUST HAVE 16 YEARS OF EDUCATION OR ITS EQULENT THEN YOU CAN GET admission in US FOR MASTERS...

AND IF YOUR ENGLISH IS WEEK then you must learn English language in order to get admission over there..

BUT the point is THESE PROFICIENCY TESTS IS NOT NECESSARY FOR IMMIGRANT VISA. WHEN YOU WILL THERE THEN YOU CAN TAKE ENGLISH LEARNING CLASSES WHEN YOU THINK NOW YOU CAN UNDERSTAND AMERICAN TEACHERS THEN GET ADMISSION.

To answer you yes I have 16 years of education and my bachelors is equivalent with their bachelors, So I am eligible for masters there hopefully., I too agree with you that theses test are for student visa but I am just worried if someone go there as an family immigrant and would like to study and then they demand TOEFL or IELTS as an admission requirement then at the eleventh hour we have to give the test.

So i need clarification on this point dear that can we get admission in their university without these test if we go as an immigrant??? Please satisfy my query., thnx in advance

but i knew taht cuz english language is necessary for getting adm in USA not these types of test.if u spoke english very well then these type of tests are nothing.

but ill confrim from UNITES STATES EDUCATION FOUNDATION IN PAKISTAN.

Anybody whose mother tongue is not English, he or she has to appear for proficiency of english test to get admission in the US university irrespective of visa category. I hope this clarifies your query
