Hi All

I think this may be a mistake from the NVC. This actually happened once before where they posted a date and then a couple days later they changed the date to the correct date.. It just doesent make sense that it would only move a week with the new visa #'s. My PD is FEB 2002 so i was looking for some hope but with this it actually i kinda lost my hope. I just hope that NVC will notice this and actually move the process along.

No they won't change any thing.

But you can expect better things in next coming Visa bulletin. Which I don't.

Look at the Eb 2 category for india. it had moved very rapidly this yr.. all our visa got exhausted in it. and now this month bulletin shwin 3 yrs retrogress which is a big fall. somwhere the trouble is there with visa no. india not alloted as much required or most of used in eb2 nd few in family immigration. dont forget we have other categories in family too. lets hope one month movement in november. technically nov is the new month :-)

You are Quite Correct Mr. Patel , Guys's i think 11 years and Couple Months is the Min. Time Taken for F4 and everyone can Back Calculatins accordingly .

Anyways one thing that i mentioned last year in a forum, deadline for i-245 applictns was april 31st 2001. So except the worst for the next year.

Waleed I admire your intelligence , You were the only guy who was saying don't expect movement more then 1 week , because people are not getting their interview letters.

So waleed what do you predict about my case > 25 June 2001. When I should expect my interview ? In how many months ?

I-245 law allowed for illegal immigrants to be petitioned for after they paid $1000 fine and were physically present in the US on 21st December 2000. So after we get over April 2001, dates should start moving at a better rate. Ofcourse i cld be proven wrong in less than a month when the next vb cmes out, but thats jst my take.

And it was jst common sense, if theyre not sending out ILs then it was sure the dates werent moving far. And one thing i learnd following my case in the last 3 yrs is that absolutely no one can predict the VB. They take your hopes to the sky only to smash them into pieces, multiple times!

I don't think so it has some thing to do with Family based preferences.

It was united states internal issue.

Visa Numbers have nothing to do with those cases.
