Hi everyone,

I am a US citizen and I want to sponsor my brother to US. My brother is married and has a son. Do I need to submit his marriage certificate , his wife's birth cert. and his son's birth cert?

I am going to submit the following documents:

3. . A copy of my original birth certificate

4. A translated version of my birth certificate

5. A copy of my brother's original birth certificate showing that we have the same parents

6. A translated version of my brother's birth certificate

7. A copy of my brother's marriage certificate

8. A translated version of his marriage cert.

9. A copy of his wife's birth certificate

10. A translated version of his wife's birth cert.

11. . A copy of their son's birth certificate

12. A translated version of their son's birth cert.

13. A copy of my marriage certificate because my last name has changed

14. A check paying the application fee.

Am I missing anything here? please review and let me know.

My second question:

I have applied a petition for my little sister. She is 22 years old and single. I know that I have to wait at least 12 years for her to come. It is a long time to wait so I want to sponsor my parents to the US first. When my parents arrived US, they will have 10 years green card. Can they sponsor my little sister (green card holder sponsors for unmarried child over 21 years old)? Is there any problem when my mom / dad and I are both sponsor her? I just hope she can come a little early than 12 years. Thank you.

You can't sponsor his wife or his children. You can sponsor him. ALL the documents you mentioned are applicable. Most of all u NEED to show how you and brother are related... I.e. copy of birth cert. Showing parents name.

In previous retrogresion it was retrogressed for 14 months and became current within 6 months. This time It almost 18 months passed so why not we expect a big jump in new fiscal year.

lets see, tomorrow we will get ans .max 2-3 months..nothing more than that

You are right. Hope this time it will not hurt us as wait time is enough from your previous wait time. However I will not mind if my date becomes current by next year June,13

Guy's , What i think PD Movent is more of Statistical Calculation than Gut Feel , in my point of view it also works Avg Processing times so Driving Factore might be processing within 11 Years and that is what it should catch up with.
