Yes I called NVC but they told me that your petition has been processed and sent to Mumbai consulate so I need to enquire to mumbai consulate, and when I enquire to Mumbai consulate they told me that we can not give any reply to your query as your file is non-current now so it is with NVC...! :( :(

So answers from NVC and Mumbai consulate both are contradictory with each other :(

In such a scenario then you have to Call DOS -202-663-1225 Press 1 then 0 for a live operator and get updates for your case..

Good Luck..

thank you so much for your reply,

but, are you aware of the period which it would take for my Invoice?

I mean does this, delay the visa processing time?

Keep calling NVC till they update ur invoice info..

Take only one answer from NVC.."Your fees has been invoiced...:P

Good Luck..

Done !! They called us did finger prints for my parents and told me and sis to wait since they had to check if we were eligible being over 21. They took like 2 hours to calculate and stuff and finally took our fingerprints.

In the interview the officer asked us random common questions like who called u , what she does , how many kids , etc. and granted us the visas all 4 of us ! :D

It shud be with us in 5 days she said.
