I was looking over the I864 to see what it entailed and I am lost on what section I would include my child support as part of my annual income? Is it in section 23 or do I have to count it as an asset in section 26? I would appreciate anyone who has done this already in assisting me on how I claim it? thanks!!1

Income is not an asset. I would indicate "Court ordered Child Support" in either space available in 22a or 22b, then include it in the income total on line 23. Document employment income with tax returns and pay stubs and child support with a copy of the court order and some bank statements or other clear evidence you actually receive the child support payments.

type up a "continuation sheet" for your I-864, put your name, SS# and form I-864 in upper right hand corner.

label the page then put he section and line #... sample:

YOUR NAME HERE

SS# 000-00-0000

I-864

CONTINUATION SHEET FOR FORM I-864, AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT

PART 6. SPONSOR’S INCOME AND EMPLOYMENT

23. 2009 CHILD SUPPORT (NOT TAXABLE) IS INCLUDED ON THIS LINE = SEE ENCLOSED CSEA DOCUMENT (or whatever the name of your agency)

$0000

child support enforcement agency printout showing payments AND year total from previous year would be best IMHO but YMMV

quote from instructions: "If your claimed income includes alimony, child support, dividend or interest income,or income from any other source, you may also include evidence of that income." so i would just include that amount on your total income.

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.
