Hello VJ Members,

I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with doing their Biometrics in Baltimore, Maryland? If so, were you allowed to go to your Biometrics appointments early? Thanks for the input.

Hi,

My wife had her Biometrics appointment at the Baltimore office couple of weeks ago. We thought about doing a walk-in, and researched on the web to see if Baltimore will take walkin appointments. From their web site, they mentioned that only people with appointments can have their biometrics and since there were no success stories for walkins at visajourney for Baltimore, we went on our scheduled appointment date. Also, when we went to the office, we noticed the sign which said you need to have an appointment to have the biometrics, so I am assuming walk-ins might not work. If you are near the office, it might worth a trip, just to see if they will take walk-ins ( we are 45 mins away, did not want to take off from work and drive, just to check). Good Luck and post your experience if you try walkin.

BTW, the whole process took less than 15 mins :) Office was not crowded, so I am not sure why they cannot take a walkin.

I had my biometrics in NY state but I was only allowed to go in earlier within the same appointed DAY of my biometrics. I went in the morning of the appointed day instead of 2 in the afternoon. I did same thing on the day of my kids biometrics appointment too, and there was no problem. We were allowed to do it quickly and leave early. goodluck
