K1 visa and police check

Hi... 4 years ago i was caught using an uninsured vehicle for which i received a £200 fine and 8 penalty points on my licence...

I think we've looked on every site possible and can't see if it's an act of moral turpitude or not... We'd never even heard of the phrase until now... We're worried sick that we're going to go through all the process and be denied at the end...

Can anyone give us any guidance at all???

Thanks in advance

Michelle

Unless there were aggrevating circumstances (such as drugs in your system), it is not a CMT.
