Filling out my address information on the I-485

Simple question, I think -- when filling out the I-485, it asks me for my address, with fields indicating they are expecting a U.S. address. However, I am here on a B2 visitor's visa. I am marrying (on Tuesday) my love and have been staying with her, but I have my house back in Canada with all my stuff. I didn't come here intending to live here. So which address to I put? It looks like they're looking for an American address, but doesn't filling that out imply that I broke the terms of the B2 visitor's visa by "living" here?

That address is where they are going to send your green card, so you'd better use your US address! Since you are applying for AOS, they know you are living here now.

Well that does make sense, but then, on the I-130 am I supposed to put my Canadian or American address? Logically it concludes the American address -- I'm just concerned because when I came into the U.S. I came as a visitor -- ie. I am legally not able to live here. So kind of confused about this...

Even though you shouldn't live here, you are. So you need to put your U.S. address, if it's asking for your current one.

The biographical file is going to ask you for all the addresses you've lived at for the past 5 years or so, then you will include your Canadian home there until the point where you came here.

An immediate relative of a US citizen is normally required to go through the immigrant visa process at the US consulate in their home country. You're asking USCIS to skip the visa application step because you're already living here. USCIS doesn't deal with aliens living abroad. Your current address should be in the United States.

Okay, that's clear then --- I'll use the U.S. address.

As apparently my route is not an unusual one, if anyone else that has taken this route can confirm that saying that you lived in the U.S. on the application while under a visitor visa didn't cause any issues during or pre interview, that'd relax my nerves a bit... anyone?

YES... you live in the US now... US is your current address. If you put Canada, your form will not be accepted. I don't know how else we can say it to you. Notice my husband's timeline.

Also, the USC is supposed to fill out the I-130 (it's from USC point of view).
