Hi,everybody. This website is best knowledge sharing and informative and proved useful to many immigrants.

(My query is listed below and request to put at appropriate thread.)

“One of my sister whose priority date is October 11,2001,who has (derivative beneficiary) daughter, aged 20years and 4months and studding at Dental College in India and require about 2 years to complete her study. For her 'Follow to join' option available. I need advice and information from senior members, friends and people who have done the "following-to-join" benefits presently and in the past and they can surely give some helpful tips and information based on their experiences. What are advantages and disadvantages?”

there is no follow to join in that case.

the whole family will have the interview at the US consulate/embassy in their country of origin. if she qualifies for the CSPA if she ages out, and receives her GC. she can enter the US and request a reentry permit. the reentry permit is valid for 2 years.
