more like motion to stop judicial activism and people who cannot read nor understand who can and cannot be a citizen.

Some twerp who's parents jumped ship after the kid was born showed no allegiance whatsoever to this nation, as he even said himself.

By in large, Scandal took advantage of a broken system. Granted he was allowed to do so by morons who accept this abuse and misrepresentation of the intent of the 14th amendment. But it still doesn't change the fact by all intents and purposes what went on was wrong in his story.

With him publicly coming out and posting his story, then it's open for attack and breakdown in its nature. This is off-topic after all, not the upper immigration forums where you'd get a bit more respect on such a post.

He took advantage of a 'loophole' granted by judicial activism and not what the authors of the 14th amendment ever intended to happen.

I gave you quotes of congressmen who were there when the amendment was written. Instead of just telling us what the authors really meant and that the Supreme Court doesn't know anything why don't you offer up some legit information to persuade us why you are right?. Because quite frankly you haven't supplied any sort of evidence other than your own bias opinions.

Why for instance is the Supreme Courts interpretation wrong? I am dying to know.

See, this is interesting though, as he said. His parents were here for education and work reasons temporarily. They had no allegiance to the states and jumped ship and never came back when he was an infant. We're not talking about a Permanent Resident here, we're talking about student/work visas that are temporary.... If the parents have no intention of showing allegiance to the states and take their child out after birth, then that is hardly grounds for giving the child citizenship as obviously the jurisdiction lies with the home country in this case.

The child of anyone that is not a permanent resident, does not qualify for citizenship. Since Scandals folks entered on temp Visa's, he would not be eligible under the equivalent visa in either Canada, Australia, the UK, France, New Zealand, Ireland etc etc etc etc ###### etc..

See this is what I mean. I gave you a legal opinion that the 14th amendment applies to the child not the parents. Please explain why this is wrong with some credible evidence.
