I am an American and my fiance Richard is from the United Kingdom, We have been working on filing out the 129, The form isn't so bad its all the advice I have been reading online that have confused me.

We met online January of 2009, I went to the UK to visit with him in July of 2009 and we became engaged, I had to return home, I wasnt approved for entry except for a weekend.

I have completed the following forms and provided the following supporting documents.

I 129 F

G 325 A From both of us.

I 864 F

I have photo copies of the last 3 years of Tax forms from the marriage I was in, now divorced.

Evidence of income forms, which include a roommate agreement from my adult daughter, which provides part of my income.. QUESTION Do I need a letter from my ex husband which is my employer, I clean house for him?

This is the only income I have, is this going to be a problem? He is fulltime employed in the UK but wants to stay over here in the states and work while we prepare for the move, were not sure yet When we will go back to the UK and He could end up deciding to live here permanantly.

Both of us are Divorce and have copies of the decrees to attach.

We both have written a letter of intent, We both have passport photos. He sent me his with his letter signed by hand, along with his G325 and divorce decree.

The proof I have of going there are photocopies of my plane tickets.

I have copied my birth certificate to send in with the packet.

Form G 1145 Enotification of Application

We also play an online game together called Secondlife in which we are game partners and have been married within the game.

I am just curious what your opinions are and what else I need to do. I want to get this filed asap.

Thanks,

Tj

Be sure to check this out K-1 Guide

For now you just need the I-129F the G 325A in terms of forms. Save the other stuff for the interview. The guide will tell you more about what the initial application needs.

The income related things you do not need until later. You may or may not consider a co-sponsor, especially if your income does not show up on your tax returns.

You do NOT need the I-864. do not complete that nor send it in to USCIS

Follow the guides amykathleen gave you. All that financial stuff comes later. don't send anything that USCIS doesn't actually require at this stage

Good luck

No bio needed, just the I-134 filled out by the cosponsor and their documents such as taxes (transcripts or full copies with W-2's and 1099 forms) for the past 3 years, paystubs, bank letters, letters of employment, etc. You will also need to prove their citizenship so you will need a copy of their passport bio page or birth certificate.

You will still need to do the I-134 for yourself even if you do not make enough money.
