I guess this means they were looking at my I-129F, and now I go back to the end of the line

Yes chances are they are looking at your file  and this is a positive thing, even though you may not necessarily see that because of this whole IMBRA debarcle. If they are looking for something other then it being one of those 2nd IMBRA RFE's issued erroneously, then, generally once you return such, an approval is not far off. You do not go back to the end of the line.

that is reassuring aussie...sure hope its not to the back of the pile...lol..been touched like 6xx since they recieved the 2nd rfe...thanks for the info (F)

What I do not understand is why they did not process the petitions even though they had to wait for the IMBRA RFE notices to come....they should have had the time to send out these other RFEs in the mean time not after they were there for 3-5 months, so that when the IMBRA RFEs came back they could approve the case and send it on right away.

Michele

My K3 NOA is from march 16th and my IMBRA RFE is from July 13th and nothing after that :(

We were notified that we had a second RFE on the way as well. Have no idea what it's about, but if they just want more proof of meeting in the past couple years then I'm afraid I dont have very much more to offer them...we given them many pics of us, airline stubs, cruise itineraries, passport stamps, hotel receipts...gawd I dont know what else I could possible send. I just hope it's something very specific they are looking for, so were not playing friggin guessing games here. Tell me what the f*** u want CSC!!!

Thanks very much. I appreciate the support java script:emoticon('',%20'smid_26')

I love the name (or rather 'handle') and the avatar!

You are often the voice of reason, are always supportive, and dispense good advice. Very much appreciated even if never verbalized.

I saw a case that the person sent IMBRA RFE and got another RFE asking for a copy of the alien fiancee's divorce decree. They sent the second RFE and were approved a few days later. :)

Thanks for the support. (also billsgirl)

Nothing in the mail today so I am still in the dark about what they think they need.

On my IMBRA RFE, the online update said it was mailed June 26, postmark on envelope was June 30, and I didn't get it til July 5. Mail normally takes 4 days from CSC to Portland. So I guess you might wait a few days more going on the chance they didn't really mail it when they said they did. :star:

I have a second RFE on the way as well...they "claimed" that they mailed it on August 12th. Typically you have to wait a minimum of 7 days...I would not expect anything to show up until at least Saturday. They dont actually mail when they say they do...the mail can be sent anywhere from 2 - 25 days after they update their website. My mailbox has become my new entertainment center... :pop:

Bingo! Mine came today. My mailbox is my new entertainment center too ... great line!

For all:

They want a copy of my divorce decree from my prior wife. Not the one that left me last August, which they of course have since I sent it with the I-129F. No, they want the one from the wife that left me 17 years ago ...

Although it is not required as far as I can tell, it might be prudent to send both decrees with the petition if you have had more than one wife/husband.

Thanks for the great site and support.

We got one because we sent photocopies of the G-325A, instead of the originals. We had to resend the originals, and we got approved shortly afterwards.

.....Yep, we sent copies of our G-325As also. So we'll be receiving an RFE! But we're ready, I have the originals. I wish that CSC would just hurry up!

I have followed this board extremely closely and I have noticed that after you send theis wnd RFE back you DO NOT go to the end of the line. I have seen several 2nd RFE's returned and then approvals a couple days later. In a way it is a good sign because all you need to do is to fill in whatever missing blank they ask for and you know that you are good with them. So, dont worry!
