Marc, stop being such a tard. I have been through the legal immigration process with my wife, and for some family members. I work in law enforcement too, so I am very anti-illegal immigration, as are Duncan and just about every so-called liberal on this board. You are a liar for trying to insinuate that any of us are pro-illegal immigration, plain and simple. Stop lying to yourself, and trying to spread lies to the populace of this board. I am however pro-civil rights of American citizens. Your failure to discern this is troubling both on an individual and group level. I think this would be a product of a lack of education and lack of information on your part. You would do well to educate yourself Marc.

Being liberal minded myself please offer any post that supports any idea that you or others are against Illegal immigration and ideas that will stop said illegal immigration. That doesn't give passes to the masses which have already broken the immigration laws to be here illegally.

Further please post or have Steve post his support of stopping illegal immigrations and his support of laws which encourage such action; all I have every seen is his posting which support illegals.

Not saying all liberals or any for that matter are for illegal immigration but many are not speaking out against it because the current political administration is for it. Their actions speak volume for it.

Do not use the US citizens may get caught up BS...If your truly in law enforcement then you really know that no matter what laws there are somewhere some how an innocent US citizen will get caught up.

Why don't you and your ilk stop crying for the dang nab Illegals indirectly in fear of some right of yours being invaded. Not many liberals will stand against the flow because they fear reprecussions of their own party.

I do not fear reprecussions of any political party for my views and I will speak them directly as I have in support of the numbers and social issues that proof illegal immigration is hurting the nation.

When did Stevie stop being pro-illegal? I remember back in 2005-2006 when Bush was trying to get his amnesty thru, this board was lit up with pro-illegal vs. anti- illegal 24/7. Stevie and many others were definitely pro-illegal. That's one division that pretty much has stayed the same, only there are fewer pro-illegals posting these days.

I don't think it is possible in today's post 911, to have open borders. However, I do think that anyone who is hard working and wants to make a better life for themselves should be given a reasonable chance to do so. What I find odd is that so many here are bringing over spouses (most often Filipinas) from a Third World country with relative ease and yet they are so opinionated against Mexicans coming here for a better life. Right now as it stands, if you are poor and from Mexico, there is no legal pathway to immigrate here, short of marrying a Kano. We've got plenty of Filipinas who sought out a Kano to specifically immigrate here for a better life. Most Pinays here share more in common with the Mexicans wanting to immigrate to the U.S. than with their own Kano husbands.

It's not ok, but it's not the big deal that many here in America, particularly during this economic recession make it out to be. Immigrants, both documented and undocumented have contributed both to our economy and to our country. We should recognize those who are willing to work hard for a better life here instead of vilifying them as criminals because they had no legal avenue to immigrate here. Our immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed. However, we must look for pragmatic solutions and not draconian laws that will compromise our constitutional rights and liberties

Every arguement Steve posts refutes any decisions or actions enforce Illegal Immigration Laws. His posts speak volumes for what he believes in and will support; you can refer to others who have known him longer.

so what i want to know is, when it is determined that illegals have made fraudulent claims, will they be red flagged for the crime (yes, it is a crime punishable by fines, imprisonment, and restitution) when osama tries to give them LPR status? we know they aren't gonna be jailed for this fraud now.

I will not ask for an apology from you it isn;t needed and to ask makes it pointless.

I never said all liberals are for illegal immigration but you said none were at least here on VJ.
