Montreal Interview -DOS Phone Scheduale

I know the Visa is good for 6 months BUT my bestfriend is only on this side of teh country for 3 weeks and then she's back to New Zealand....

So if I have a valid K-1 at that time THEN that is when my fiance and I are getting married. No alterations would be done prior to her comming home to Canada anyways so all it would just be the case of finding someone of avg weight/height as its an empire waist flowy dress that is very forgiving.

This is to keep an ongoing report and keep us from calling the DOS everyday to see if we have an interview date. The idea is that since we are around the same timing (give or take a month) then if one person gets a date....it will give us hope that ours will be soon

They apparently gave me an interview on Aug 5th. She said that is when P4 was sent out. I still haven't gotten it. Maybe tomorrow. Fingers & toes crossed for everyone!!!!

GOT AN INTERVIEW DATE! Aug 20! Guess the expedite worked. Only problem is my medical is on the 18th, hopefully they can get me the results in 24hrs :S... and NOA2 was stolen so hopefully that won't slow us down too much. WOW I am going crazy right now. In MI visiting my fiance so pretty far from home. YIKES! OKokok I am so excited I can't settle down.

Only problem is my medical is on the 18th, hopefully they can get me the results in 24hrs :S... and NOA2 was stolen so hopefully that won't slow us down too much. WOW I am going crazy right now. I would scheduale a medical sooner because if you do it on the 18th the results wont be ready till 12 on the 20th OR go into Montreal a bit early...Medisys can proly get them faster and then you would already be in Montreal...plus they are like $60 cheaper than Dr Seiden

The problem is that the blood results take approx 24 hrs to process...I used to work at teh same lab they use (Gamma Dynacare) and teh HIV-Syphillis tests took a little bit longer than some of the other normal biochemistry ones. THeres is probably a timed wait for teh radiologist to inspect and sign off on teh xray. THe reason why I think Medisys would be best is becasue they are completely private...whereas Dr. Seiden also has a walk in clinic...so you are more likely to get an appt other than the small time slot you get from Dr Seiden OR you can also try to get an Apt with Dr Seidens office in MOntreal....

We've had a pretty bad few weeks too....FI's car was totalled by the insurance company so we were running around trying to buy a car (as if we had the funds for that!)and then just last friday the sink in his kitchen had a drip and FI forgot to take teh catcher out so it filled up an dspilled over and water got everywhere and leaked downstairs and the landlords are holding us responsible for the TOTAL cost of an entire floor/ceiling replacement....including labor which my FI is more than qualified and said hed do it for free but instead they are 'PAYING' their retired father to do it and making us foot the bill....ARGH

Hopefully next week is better.....*fingers crossed*
