good day to all vj users.i have a tiny question which i hope to get an answer for here.my wife recently sent in our packet with i-864 & ds230 to the nvc.when i called nvc yesterday the avr stated that they received our documents on august 4 & that we should give them 6-8 weeks to go over our documents.my questions are:

1.she sent the afidavit of support & ds230 in 1 packet with a barcode sheet.should this cause any problems as i have never come across any other persons who sent one package?

2.lately i've been reading that the nvc is experiencing a heavy influx of applications & that they are taking longer to complete cases.is there any truth to this?if so how long should we expect to hear case completion?

Good day to all VJ users. I have two tiny questions which I hope to get answers from here. My wife recently sent in our packet with I-864 & DS230 to NVC. When I called NVC yesterday, the AVR stated that they received our documents on August 4 and that we should give them 6-8 weeks to go over our documents. My questions are:

1. Whe sent the Afffidavit of Support & DS230 in 1 packet with a barcode sheet. Should this cause any problems as I have never come across any other persons who sent one package?

2. Lately, I've been reading that the NVC is experiencing a heavy influx of applications. They are taking longer to complete cases. Is there any truth to this? If so, how long should we expect to hear case completion?

1. I don't know.

2. This is true. You should wait at least two months as NVC is saying. Noone had to wait longer than two months yet.
