has anyone bought blue mountain coffee (ground or whole bean) in jamaica recently? at a place locals shop, not a tourist place....how much is it?

Depends on where you are - Negril it was around $16 - $20 a lb, most places, did see it for $1300LB - I found a brand in Port Antonio in the market that was 3 lbs for $1100 and was just as good. (too tired to do the conversion, lol)

Morning All! We're back from Ja and we had a wonderful trip. Very low key and just kind of did the family thing. I could use another trip in though before end of the year...

We got word that we have to file form 1-90 for a replacement card for the GC so not happy about it but what can you do other than go ahead and fill the form out and return it so we can get the freakin' GC!

Glad you had a good trip - Did you never get the card, or did he lose it? If you never got it, I would fill out that form and make an info pass appt and argue with them - because I believe that form has the huge fee attached to it to get the replacement card - if you never received it it's on them, not you -

We never received it. We called pitching a fit and we got a letter from the California Service Center saying it was issued on June 23rd but we were saying we never received it so we still needed to file the I-90 to say it was issued but never received.

I am also including all correspondence from them regarding their specific request that we complete the form and also a copy of the address change that we did back in April to show we did everything we were suppose to for our address change. They screwed up on their end. I'll keep you all posted for sure.

Ok well i'm in surgery tomorrow morning early. please Pray that all goes well for me. Turns out that I may not have to pay an exorbitant amount after all, they were very nice to me, as well as very apologetic. Makes me think they sniffed a lawsuit, i'm not sure. either way i dont care. I wont be able to walk properly for almost 3 months, cast for 3wks, and physio. I was so relieved in the drs office today, i started crying like some big eediaht. lol. , I'm gonna look into working from home cus this is redic. I cant say the stress has gone away completely, i now have to rely on my hubbs for everything even more, i just want the house to be clean so i dont freaking get MRSA!!

anyone planning a trip, have a great one. Looks like i'm gonna be spending more time on 'ere as i wont be going out much.

@ Dillon, Blair underwood came and went my dear, you must have missed him. You got to be quick off the mark when it comes to him. lol he gets snapped up. dem nyam you food!
