ok well had a hard week. hubbs lost his job, i ruiptured my achillles tendon. with the cost of the surgery being a ********* mortgage, i'm planning on going back to the Uk because sh*t is free there and I dont have to put up with this bullsh*t. I'm very stressed, also found out i have a blood pressure in the range of 186 - 215 over 106. I could freaking keel over from a heart attack at this rate. I'm out of here.

Hi Missus. Sorry things aren't going well right now. Is moving back to the UK your only option right now? Is there family here that can help you all? I know that sometimes if you speak with hospital staff and explain your situation, they are willing to cut some of the costs associated with surgery and work out payment plans given the state of the economy. Have you all considered that? I know things seem impossible right now, but hopefully you all will be able to work something out that doesn't involve you all having to be separated. Whichever way it happens I hope things work out the way that you need them to. Life certainly isn't easy for sure. (L)

Thanks for the codolences. I appreciate it. frankly right now i'm more mad than anything, with him and with the usa. I'll only be gone for a minute, maybe 4 weeks then i'll be back here unfortunately. Talking to these ppl aint doing sh*t. I needed surgery immediately, they put me onto an orhopedic surgeon who didnt see me because of the situation, i'm sposed to hear from the person there that deals with discounts, charity and she doesnt return calls or answer voicemails. i'm just seriously over this whole thing, i'm so mad right now, not just with healthcare, i feel like i could have a heart attack, i wake up angry and stressed, and its not going away.. love only gets you so far, sorry, as soon as i can get a ticket, i'm out.

I don't blame you for being frustrated and going back to England to get you foot taken care of. It is nice that you have that option. I hope everything is okay with you and hubby though. Have you guys ever thought of just moving to England?

Good evening, everyone.

Missus, sorry to hear about the health struggles. As Dillon said, it's great that you have an option to get the care you need for a much lower price.

JQ, glad to hear that your husband has seen the light.

Thanks to MrsThompson posting what she did a week or two ago, I got some balloons, cake, card, and gift to celebrate Steven being here for 1 year. I'm not even gonna lie, I got the cake cause I LOVE it (red velvet with cream cheese frosting and white chocolate shavings on the outside - we had it for our wedding). He would've preferred alcohol to sweets. But he was surprised and happy.

I'm even more happy that I got to surprise him with these items when he returned home from WORK. The new Jamaican restaurant (where he was hired in APRIL) only just celebrated its Grand Opening from Thursday to today, after several months' delay. I went yesterday with some family & we all enjoyed the atmosphere and food. So now, at long last, he's working full time. Plus, when you factor in the tips, he's getting paid more than we thought.

I'm also excited that my mother just booked a trip to Jamaica. We'll be there for 8 days over Thanksgiving week & she'll be there 4 of those 8 days. I have a feeling Steven will be going out a lot with his friends, and while I'm welcome, I like that I'll have at least one of my own relatives to hang with and give him his man time without me. We have a bit of a full line-up, though. Anniversary party on Wednesday, trip to Alligator Pond on Thursday, trip to Ocho Rios Friday & continue to Kingston Friday night, as my mother flies into Montego Bay but out of Kingston. We decided to make it an island adventure since I've never hung out in Ocho Rios and my mother hasn't been outside of Mo Bay/Negril. Next is to look for a hotel in Kingston. Can't do Prestige/Sandhurst again, lol.

My laptop is on its last leg, so today I got a new one. Thanks to our new financial strategy, I was able to pay with cash already saved. That felt good.

Anyways... let me get back to setting everything up on this new laptop. Enjoy your week, everyone!

Girl, I am so sorry to hear this....

As for your tendon, do you qualify for Medicaid with hubby having lost his job?

I hope would be a quick trip to get the surgery done if you go back to the UK, your hubby needs you here...

Hugs to you...

Good morning family.., What a wonderful day Im having.... hubby really pulled out all the stops.. he is cooking breakfast for me right now, but I have 2 cakes, he had my best friend make one (strawberry shortcake my favorite!) and his coworker made the other cake(vanilla) and decorated it too, flowers were delivered this morning. He bought me shoes, a bracelet, a necklace, a watch, a bottle of champange and wine. He got my nails done for me, dinner and a show later! Im so happy and feel so blessed. Not for the material things but because of what he went through to do all this for me to make this day special and memorable, especially since he doesn't drive.....

Everyone have a nice day :star:

Sounds like a fabulous day! Go hubby!!!

Happy belated birthday MsTee!
