Hey all! Let the weekend begin :dance:

JQ- You are such a blessing to Moy Moy. Her mom obviously didn't care one bit and a lot of times men just can't handle these type of things. Thank God for us women, serious though she is so lucky she has you now to not only care and work with her, but do so in a nice way. I give you lots of credit because I know with work, your two boys and baby boom in the belly you already have a lot on your plate. Moy Moy is going to turn out to be a completely didn't person than if she was left in JA with that woman who gave birth to her, won't say mom because from what I see she never acted like one.

Eric_Jew- that's a pretty name you have picked out for your baby girl. Was it hard for you and hubby to decide? Eventhough we aren't even pregnant we are talking names and have settled on a boys name, but have totally different taste when it comes to girls names.

Finesse- Those names would have been cute for your twin girls. I like the names you both decided on too though.

Tee- Congrats on going back to school! I think mid Sept. you're gonna need an Orlando break

Jess- How's it going at work being on your own? Congrats again!!

Jap- Your day is faaaast approaching. Soooo excited for you guys. I wish I could be there. Is Imanni going to be able to go?

Who else? I know I'm missing some other important news. I was just thinking I need to give Dada a shout out or she will be mad at me, but then I remembered she moved states and ditched VJ. J/K you are missed that is all. Keep up the good work though.

DW- you ready to celebrate like you never did before next month with the doubles birthday in Yaad?

So McCoy said she is going to JA for Christmas..anyone else??

Have fun this weekend and if you can't be good then be good at being bad.

Thats OK Tee! It will work out one day. One of my friends is suppose to be here today to celebrate her 30th bday but couldn't make it happen, so we are celebrating the year for everyone's bday that couldn't be here on their actual day. No worries.

wow....always so much to reply to. I can't keep up. I installed my computer on BFs new internet so I can at least go over there now when I can't get on firehouse computer. No more internet at work for me. Frown. But, at least I can now say I HAVE A JOB!

For those of you who don't follow FB (um....Finesse!) I finally have a job. After 12 long weeks of exhaustive trying, I ended up getting 2 job offers last week. Had to quit one before I even started. I start work in a doctor's office Sept. 7th. Back to what I used to do like 4 jobs ago. It's scary and exciting all the same. Just being back to work makes me very happy. So, I'm enjoying my last days off and working on that killer tan I got this year. Sort of feel like a teacher having all summer off. A girl could get used to it IF I got paid to be off.

JQ, I agree....it's better to keep the child back and get some good groundwork on the education, then rush along. It's hard enough to adjust without the added pressure. They can always move up a grade in future years if it merits. I feel you though. Keep up the good work. There are plenty of resources out there for you to use.

Dillon............I read a night out and didn't receive a phone call or text so I feel very dissed right now. Cheating on me?

Congrats on the job JG and welcome back. You were missed :)

Hi Just.. how are things going with your son?

Don't even get me started on him. That boy is going to die by my hands one day soon.

He started college last week. He ended up making it to class on time 2 of the 5 days. Traffic he says. How many times do I have to say just leave 15 mins earlier?

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Thanks Thompson, I feel her mom cared but not enough to do any thing extra with her afterschool. I cant do that with my kids. No tv during the week and no dinner til homework is done thats the rules

My oldest son has some problems because he doesnt try hard enough to me!

My youngest is in GATE classes and they wanted him to skip 3rd grade. But I said no because I like for him to stay where he is at.

So its no problem for me to step up for Moy, but damn yall I am taking on alot thats why this pregnancy is going to crazy, I cant relax at all

Thats good that you were able to find a solution for Moy Moy. That makes me feel good knowing she will be cared for :)

JG, I know it has to be nice to be back at work... Maybe you SHOULD consider becoming a teacher.. You could you know and get paid for having summers off.. :star:

B, I know but I need a getaway my darn self. I wish I could just travel all the time. I love it...

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. My niece and nephew are with me this weekend.. They are a handfull. Im teaching my nephew how to make taco's for dinner. This should be fun....:)

JQ- That's great that Moy Moy can go to an all day kindergarden. How perfect that it's right near your job and her older bro will be there. See God is good all the time. It sounds like you have set a good founadation for your boys and will do the same for Moy Moy and she will follow in her brothers foot steps. I think some kids just get lazy, especially if they are naturally smart and just feel they don't have to give as much effort if they can pass without it. That's great about your younger son. How come you don't want him to skip? Is it for materity reasons? I can understand that. Otherwise I was thinking what if he gets bored with his class work since he is ahead and learns that he too can be lazy and slack off and still get good grades. I know you have a good reason for your decision and not trying to say you should do otherwise. I was just curious (nice way of saying nosey  ).

Tee- Just think when you are a teacher..you can travel all summer! Just hang in there until you graduate! Oh and you GOTTA take some pictures of your taco making lesson, partly for fun and partly to teach me!

Happy a good weekend all!

Hey B, they wanted him to skip and I felt that he should stay with his own grade, not for any reason except I felt he would be overwhelmed. That happened to me in 7th grade and I went to the Gifted and Taleted Classes, well they were hard as heck. I still got a,b,and c's but it was just to much for me and eveyone was counting on me and pressuring me because of that high achievement.

Then when he moved to the new school last year his grades slipped. So it was a good lesson for hm, try as hard as you can, his head got big because he knew they wanted him to skip and he stopped trying as hard :bonk:

Oh I see. You know first hand what it's like. I see where he gets his brains from. I've just heard people say for maturity reasons they don't want their kids to skip, so I was just curious if that was your reasoning too. That's good he learned his lesson. I'm still excited Moy Moy gets to go all day now. That is great!

Ok everyone (or anyone that wants to give their 2 cents), how do you deal with hubby's friends back in JA asking for things? He has one friend that has already asked for a new phone and $100. He asked hubby for the phone and hubby just ignored him (it was visa FB he asked), then he just asked be tonight if I could send $100 and just keep it between him and I. Vaughn has a big family and none of them have even asked for anything, so I think this friend is out of line. I'm happy to help anyone that is important to my husband but I just feel he is thinking I have an endless supply of cash. What makes it hard is that he sees our pictures on FB going to all these places, so how do I say no? I told I can't because hubby and I aren't working this year and are just spending time together before we get serious about work and kids. I'm thinking that he's thinking we aren't just sitting at home so if we have money to go places then why not for him? I'm sure some of you have encounted this before and just would like to know how you handled it.

I just said NO. I don't have it. He's not working and money is tight. You will encounter that ####### over and over again.

Honest, it pissed me off to no end.
