Thanks Tee, I bought her some flash cards from the 99 cent store that were geared to K, but I also like your idea so she will know that we are personally trying to help her. her dad was getting frustrated with her last night because she cant count to 40 but cant write her numbers pass 26. I was telling him she was taught pre school curriculum and she is not there yet!! but he dont listen he gets to frustrated and I am going to have to help her.

OMG went to register Moy for school, and they said the basic school really doesnt qualify because its like Pre K, so they wanted to test her.

OMG she didnt pass the test and she has to go to K this year, she will be 6 on the 13th. damn her mom, aint even work wit the girl, while she was in school, she cant even read. Can count, can write, can distinguish colors and the names of colors, but is not familiar with site words like it, the , can, I, and an am

I have been working with her with the books but she only been here for 14 days what am I suppose to do in that time frame I did nt knw they were going to make her do K all over

i knew she had problems but didnt know it was so badddddddddddddddddddddd.

Dont get me wrong she real smart but just not at a 1st grade level, she is a year behind

JQ be thankful that they tested her because last year when my step son started school they just put him in the grade for his age level. He struggled ALL year and probably should have been in 3rd grade due to being so far behind. He had to have special help all year long and will probably have to have some this year as well. You are really doing her a favor by having her repeat K it will really help with her self esteem as well as getting her caught up. I was upset too when this happened and really wonder what Hubby was paying for regarding his education seeing as he was in a private school back in Jamaica.

Yes they started on the 16th and so far they are on my damn nerves! Marley "forgot" she had homework last night and at bed time she starts doing it. She is lucky I let her do it next time she is going to have to turn in unfinished work and take her lumps. I am not playing with these two this year they are old enough to know better.

It depends on the day though some days are alot better then others. I am still about the same from when you saw me just a tad bigger maybe Baby Mama, well she isnt even worth being a topic to discuss lets just say I have change my number and come December she best hope my feelings have changed otherwise she has some stuff coming to her.
