Hey Dills--Just got a hold of someone from the school board. It seems as if I just have to have applied for her SS card and bring in the form that the office prints out. She doesn't actually have to have it at the time of registration. Thx for all the help thouhg Lady :thumbs:

Hmm. I never thought about it like that. I've read a ton of books on money & taken some classes, as well as managed my money & household singlehandedly for years. Perhaps it was unrealistic of me to expect someone with such a different financial background to have the same viewpoints (financial wisdom?) as I do. Heck, 6 years ago *I* didn't have the same viewpoints that I have now. Wish I did, though. Anyway, I will relax a bit & see how he handles things now that he's making some.

Hi girls. I'm still around, whomever asked. Just a whole lot less internet time. I was spending all the time looking for a job. Now that I finally have one, I should be able to spend my limited internet time having some fun on here.

JaEng- The site came out great! I like the name you chose too. I didn't vote on your FB, but I think this one sounds more professional.

Jess- Wow one day of training and you are on your own? That's nice. So happy for you and this blessing.

Can't believe some of you went to JA and took NO pictures. Cho! (just a random rant)

Does anyone know when the kids get out for Christmas in JA? We are going the 19th and I'm wondering if they will have that week off or get out half way through the week.

So I think the car buying idea is dead. Vaughn's father said insurance would cost about $90 a month. If that is the case then it's cheaper for us to just rent. Does anyone know if there are any cheaper options?
