Hey Yardies!!!!

Congratulations on all the baby mothers in here!!!! I hope I wont be joining anytime soon. I finally got my interview letter for January 10.:dance: Hope everything go okay. I little bit excited and nervous. Cant wait to finally make some real progress with mi life.

So to all my Jamaica mothers....I have a thing a bother mi and I need your advice. I have a friend who got married, migrated with her son and now living with husband. The son is twelve years old....start thinking that he is a man and came in at three am. She rass him and he called 911 and told them that she beat him with BB bat. Anyways she want to send him back to Ja but she have a little baby and Social services say if she send him back or he is not there when they make a surprise visit then they going to take both children away form her. Now my question is what do you do in a situation like this? Its not me but I am soo upset because some kids dont know the sacrifice you make for them and then they play a fool of themselves!

I kept trying to post yesterday and it wouldn't let me. I think she should make him stay but try to get him some therapy... I kniow its easier said than done though. Good luck.

Wa Gwaan Yardies,

I wanted to stop by Big Up my people and show love to the ladies expecting babies soon :thumbs: !!

My baby is 2 1/2 months and already a HANDFUL. We just got back from JA on Sat and coming back with him on the plane ALONE was more than a notion!!! My mother in Law was visiting with me for 3 months and we flew down together and that was ok but I was on my on coming home!

My husband was SOOO happy to finally get to see and hold the baby, he could hardly put him down even when the baby was asleep. Hubby was all teary eyed as we prepared to leave on Sat morning. We are sooo ready for our interview and to be together. PLEASE keep us in your prayers!

Ok and about this medical, how do I figure what shot hubby needs or is missing? His medical should be coming up soon and I don't need any problems....

Dan Dan, that is so wonderful that hubby enjoyed his time with the baby. I know its hard but just stay positive, this process can get you down. Keep your head up. Youre in our prayers!(F)

What a gwane DanDan,

congrats on your baby. Happy that you were able to visit JA recently. I have not seen my hubby since August so I am singing the blues right now. I am glad that you got to be reunited with your hubby though and that he got to see your baby. That is so exciting. You will be together soon so don't worry about a thing. These days, weeks, months are going to fly by. Regarding your question: there is an immunization list on the nvc website. I just asked my husband to review the list against his immunization records and get the shots that he did not already have. He got some at the health clinic because his sister works there and one at this doctor's office. He got a few at the time of the medical which caused a small fortune. Try to avoid any shots at the medical exam or else it will really increase the cost. I hope this helps. Please let me know how you get on. Us yardies haffi stick together.

So true!

This is too funny.... So we shop at Sam's Club for our most used items, like Dawn(dish detergent), washing powder, trash bags, etc. So Eric washes clothes on one of his days off. I go to fill up the dish liquid container by the sink, but there is no Dawn left. But there is going a gang of Gain left. Why my baby been washing the clothes with Dawn in the washing machine. :bonk: But I didn't say anything. Cause he is trying to help out, so I will just have to hide the dawn. How DW say: po thang

:bonk: This is too funny!!!!!

KJ, mi wait pon ya answer!!! *Tapping my feet* LOL

This made me laugh...poe thang!

Hey mama, don't feel no better. My throat is still falling out, I can't take any pain meds so the only thing I'm on are antibiotics. To make matters worse, I never in my life had high blood pressure and I woke up today with my head pounding. I checked it and it was 120/85. Hopefully it won't go up any further.

Well, I paid it and bought my meds so no complaints

Hope you feeling a little better Mama KJ!!!

Good afternoon yardies, hope all is well and Always is resting and staring at her baby girl!

I expected the results of the procedure to come yesterday but I should've known that since the preliminary resuts were late, then the final report would be late too. So I sat by my phone all day today just waiting for the call and the minute I ran to the bathroom I came back to a missed call and a voicemail saying I won't get the results until next week :(

I will but kinda feel left out cause you guys have a nice little family going on here and I feel like the sister in law....he he he... and plus seems like the baby fever catching and mi nuh waan catch none. I always check in to see whats happening though even when I dont post anything. I will definitely let her know and she is very perturbed about it right now.

Feel left out? Please girl! Just come with the wata blocking shield and join us :star:
