Hey there Yardies! I hope everyone is well. Lawd what is up with all the babies. Keep the wata far away from me. I need to open up a daycare for you guys. I'm going to charge $500 a week and I'm going to teach Patois. The first word we will learn is B-U-M-B-A-C-L-A-T. Just kidding! I'm so happy for all of you and may God be with during your pregnancies and throughout motherhood.

I know its been forever, but I had to get school and the vow renewal out of the way. Now life is somewhat back to normal and Ivan and I are doing well. We will be back in Jamaica in November so let me know if you are planning to be there. Also wanted to know if there are any yardies near Dallas, TX. Enjoy your week.

Take care!

Hey Char! You jumping in DW's ride and heading to O-town the weekend of Oct. 22nd or are you gonna be busy preparing for your JA trip? I think Nat is in Houston, but Quana is in or near Dallas, but not totally sure.

Finesse- it would be hard for me to leave a nicer neighborhor with things to do. If you have 3 bedrooms then the girls can just share, they will never know the difference. What are you wanting more space for? More bedrooms or living space or bigger kitchen? Tee is right about the schools, make sure you stay in good districts. On the flip side to this I can see now that you are a mommy of 3 maybe your life is geared more towards the house and it would be worth it to get a house you would enjoy more, as opposed to the neighborhood that maybe you and hubby enjoyed more before the babies. It really depends on how often you enjoy the neighborhood amenties as opposed to spending a good amount of time in the actual house. It's a tough time to sell, but again on the flip a great time to buy. Good luck with whatever you decide. Oh lastly, maybe it wouldn't hurt just to look and see what your options are. You may really love another house or feel that there isn't anything better than what you have when you factor in the neighborhood. I would say go out and see because sometimes on paper things seem like a good idea, but aren't in reality. Or this could confirm to you that a move is the right choice for you and your family. Ok, so all I did was go back and forth and not give you any real help, sorry!

We need a baby chart. We got a couple of babies due in Dec/Jan. right? Then Tamisha is May, KJ is June. What about One Love? She is pretty soon, but I don't know what month. No VJ pickney coming Feb, March, or April? Who else is pregnant on here? Seems I am forgetting someone. The VJ water is like a tsunami outta control overtaking everyone's ovaries. Oh yea Mz Lashes..when is she due?

Thanks JQ!! So Feb, March and April are a dry spell for deliveries. Then Tamisha kicks off the summer babies on Cinco de Mayo, then KJ.. Mama Jew is the one who was close to you right? I remember you talking to someone saying you got pregnant on the same night..lol I can't remember who that was that came on and said they tried to stay away but the VJ water still found them. Hmm. Someone will remember.

Congrats to Dan Dan.. I hope her hunny soon comes!

Hey Brooke,

I am still deciding on whether we are going to be able to make it down. Hubby is staying in Jamaica for 3 1/2 weeks so he is trying to stack his money. I will be there for a week so we had to get a condo for a whole month!! We should make a decision by Friday.

Finesse, I agree with MrsTee and Thompson on the house. I’m looking to buy a new one myself and my biggest concerns are the neighborhood, the schools and having things to do. It seems like you may already have the ideal situation. We have enough rooms and my girls still prefer their bunk-beds and sharing a room. The extra room has been turned into a princess playroom for them. I mostly think about when my girls get older will they have things to safety enjoy through their teen years without having to travel too far from home for activities or to visit with friends. My son now already takes like 2 buses and a train to see friends and when his irresponsible self gets stuck somewhere because it started raining and they skateboarded out there, I’m travelling a ways to go get his butt and not to mention his stuck friends too. It’s a huge worry that he has to travel so far, but everyone has moved out of the neighborhood. Also my step-sisters mother had a huge house when we were little and when they went to college and moved on with life she felt lonely in the big house and sold it for something smaller. So the whole process all over again. :(
