Hello,

I have received the receipt for my OPT application and they have mentioned that they received my application on 15 June.

I am still awaiting my OPT card. Moreover I have an open job offer and already postponed my joining date 2 times. Is there any way to expedite the process.

The USCIS website do not update any progress USCIS Status

I had applied to Texas center, however the application has been transferred to Vermont I believe now.

Any suggestions and what was time it took for you guys if anyone got it this year .

Hi,

even i have applied for OPT on June 19th, received a receipt dated June 24th. My online status has not changed at all, dunno whats happening or if it has been touched even! I filed it for the Texas office, got receipt from California.

I also have a job offer, but I don't think they will wait for longer.

Were u able to get any information from customer service? Please update when you receive your OPT.

I got a mail on 14th Aug, that they need additional evidence. All they needed was new photos with light background. I send them via express mail so that things dont get delayed. I also attached my offer letter and a cover letter requesting them to do it fast.

They approved my OPT card of 24 aug . The EAD is on its way.

Few of my other friends also got it within a month since they attached an offer letter. So I think it helps to send it to them though its not official thing.
