Does any beneficiary have any minor crimes on record?

I'm wondering if there's anyone who has a fiance with a minor crime on their record & has been through this process? Did it slow the paperwork or present problems to you? Thanks for the help!

It depends on the minor crime. If it involves any of the items under moral turpitude then yes. Most minor crimes are not a big thing unless they are recent. Just make sure you get all the documentation.

According to 4 different lawyers & everything I've found, it does not constitute moral turpitude. It was simple assault on a police officer in the UK (he pushed him.) It was quite recent though, about 6 months ago. There was no jail time he could have gotten, he received 8 weeks probation. When you say documentation, wouldn't that just consist of the police certificate he'll send in with packet 3? Aside from bringing along a copy to the interview, I'm not sure what else there'd be for him to show.

He should get a copy of the complaint and a transcript of the result.
