Hi guys.. I'm not sure if anyone will have any experience or advice in this area but any would help. When we did our aos packet we used the ez one as we were basing it of my husbands income only. He made 50000. However the company my husband worked for just shut there doors.he was given a letter stating they closed there doors and a letter of recommedation, and a weeks worth of pay.

He has a job pending a few background checks etc however I am unsure how this will affect my immigration aos. Will I now need a co-sponser? He will be making 52000 and have full benefits imcluding full family coverage. However he will have been unemplyed for a month or so before He starts. We really have noone to Co-sponser us. Any advice?

As long as you don't have an interview in the time hes not working I can't see it being an issue. If he can get a copy of the offer of employment, even if its for a future date, with his past information and the fact he has a job offer there I can't see it being an issue.

In this case, she means AOS in terms of the Affidavit of Support - not the Adjustment of Status :)

Ah yes, that would make sense. I am in the midst of AOS myself (of the status sort) so automatically thought Status, not 'Support' when I read 'aos packet'. lol

Anyhoo... back to OP, lol if you have any proof of his new job, like a contract or confirmation of any sort, I would get what you can and bring that with you as well. I would think there should be no need to get a co-sponsor just for the sake of one month's unemployment if he's got something else lined up already.

Alright Awesome. I was just starting to get worried. Yes he has had this job lined up since the company closing but he signed a agreement and gave a verbal agreement as well. However All the paperwork does say "per passing all standards and background checks" Hoping to hear so good word within the next few days.

He doesn;t have assets yet. No savings as it got burnt up with this loss of job. But hopefully it wont change anything as he will be making around the same amount. I know we ill have to make a new AOS packet due to the "new job".
