...and I'm all burnt! Spent all day outside washing my car...and I even waxed it myself!! Two probbos tho: I thought it'd be cool to get a tan while doing it, so I put on my bathing suit & now my back and stomach are burnt :( and also...waxing a car is HARD! #######?!??!?! I feel like I got hit with a mac truck, hahaha.

I do feel proud cos I did it, but next time, I think I'll just get it done professionally...and when D gets here, it's his job, lol

Waxing a car in the hot sun is very hard. You are suposed to do it in the shade. Its much easier if its only 60 degrees or so.

Oh yeah, i shoulda said...the sun was out when I was washing the car, and cleaning the inside...I put the top down on the car when i was cleaning the inside so I could get some sun....and when it came time to wax, there were clouds so I thought i was safe, lol...

good deal!! Now don't ruin it by using harsh soap (dishwashing soap is the worse) to wash it. Use car wash soap. The gentler the better. Dishwashing liquid cuts through grease and wax.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Ufffffffffffffffff I know what waxing cars and a boat is all about..... HARD WORK. I feel for your arms today and that burn you got.

It helps to use a good wax also.... Makes taking it off a little easier..... I am a fan of Meguires Gold.
