Me too! I've had 3 so far.... And I TOTALLY agree, let's hope our petitions get their attention and they decide to approve it now :) I'll keep dreaming!

How did get touched before getting the hard copy of NOA1. I understand once you get the first NOA1 you can get touched..but before? Hmmm...

I looked at your timeline, that is why i am asking.

I think that happened to a few of us. It took about 3 days or so for the NOA1 hardcopy to reach me by snail mail, which allowed VSC to begin processing the petition before I actually received the hardcopy and knew they had begun processing. When I checked USCIS after getting the hardcopy in the 16th, the last updated date was the 13th.

Hi LongRX7, How do you see the touches, I have not seen that on the USCIS web site?

Thank, Marcus

I-129F mailed to VSC June 18,2010.

I-129F delivered to VSC June 21,2010.

Waiting, waiting for NOA1.

July 12, 2010 VSC states petition was rejected (no reason given) and was being returned however they did give me the case #.

Waiting, waiting, did not get returned petition instead got hard copy of NOA1 in mail on July 26, 2010 with

different case # (very strange!!!) I have not seen anything like this on VJ.

NOA1 dated July 20, 2010 (way too long) 29 days since delivered.

Check cleared July 22, 2010.

Received NOA1 hard copy July 26, 2010.

"Touch" July 27, 2010.

"Touch" Oct. 3, 2010 Yeah!!!!, at least something.

YEEPEE!!!! Finally NOA2. Dec 30,2010 got cell text at 4:04pm, and email notice at 6:00pm that our petition has been approved.

Now for the rest of the process, should not be so long now!!!!!!

This long wait has been very stressful for both of us, now we can make more plans for the rest of our lives together.

NVC got our case on Jan 4, 2011 and was sent to the Embassy on Jan 6, 2011. Thank you Lord!!!

We now have our MNL case number!!!!

Thanks jrmejia, I belive I am looking at the wrong USCIS site as I do not see any dates. I am looking at USCIS site for checking your current case status(https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do), and entering my receipt number, then it shows 4 round circles with one in dark blue indicating that my case is in "Initial Review". Is there another site I can see showing the dates? Again Thanks, Marcus

If you go to the USCIS website, there is a link on the left side that says something like SIGN UP FOR CASE UPDATES. You'll want to go there, create a profile, and add your receipt number to your profile. That way, every time you log in there, it will give you the last date your case was updated. :)

My noa1 date was the 12th, entered into uscis on the 12th. Updated on the 13th...I thought a touch was any time the date was updated, as you stated above. Some people got the email/text notification before their hardcopy, making it possible to check for prior updates. That's why everyone else considers them touches, but in any way, it's not that big of a deal! Touches don't really mean anything anyway, although I'm sure we wish they did :)

Hello all my August filing friends!

Just got back from my vacation last night to find my NOA1 waiting patiently for me in my mailbox. What a lovely thing to come home to! :) Now I finally feel like part of the group because I have my number and I can finally start obsessively checking my status! woo hoo! But now of course, the really hard part begins. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
