Congratulations to everyone!!

I just found out that our case was already sent to the embassy on Feb 8th!! I'd been using the automated system, which always said they had no record of my case. Finally today I spoke to an operator and voila! Great news!!

Moral of the story: always speak to an operator at NVC!

I just found out that our case was already sent to the embassy on Feb 8th!! I'd been using the automated system, which always said they had no record of my case. Finally today I spoke to an operator and voila! Great news!!

Moral of the story: always speak to an operator at NVC!

Agree. I also called today and spoke to a live person. The automated system doesn't tell you anything. Found out today my case was sent to the embassy on Feb. 8. If anyone is wondering what is happening to their approved petition this is the route to go.

I am enjoying the speed that everything moves at after NOA2. My fiancée called the embassy in Warsaw this morning that they told us that they have received our package and already sent Packet 3 out on the 9th. She should be getting it today or tomorrow.

Well to update ours ... we have the NOA2 in hand and I called last week because it was the 2 week mark since our petition was approved and the paper said that we should hear in 2 to 4 weeks something.

I called the National Visa Center and they had only recieved the paperwork a week later. This is all we know right now.

How long from the NOA2 does it usually take to the Moscow interview? Anyone know about the Russian Moscow Embassy and if they have a backlog?

She has not got anything from anywhere yet.

By the way congratulations to those who have their NOA2 approvals. Even though some don't celebrate Valentines Day have a good to all.

My fiancee informed me that the embassy emailed her and it said her interview date is the 29th of March!

Hey that's great. Not too bad of a wait. We're hoping to get an interview around the same time. Just waiting for Packet 4 to show up.

We didn't wait for the packet to arrive. You should email the embassy with your RDJ number (from NVC) and ask if they have received your petition.

Or as I just found out thanks to VJ member, you can call the DOS, they will tell you if your petition was received and if their is an interview date (some countries set up their interviews differently, may not apply).

Well we got the letter from the Visa Center so the next thing is her packet from the Embassy and I think they will have the interview date in that packet.

Hope she has the interview soon.
