My check cleared yesterday as well. Lot's of numbers on the back but from what I read earlier in this thread none of them are the case number correct? Guess I'll just have to wait for my NOA1 to show up.

Received a txt message with my EAC #, but I haven't seen my check clear from the bank. It says "Your application was received. Receipt # EACxxxxxxxxxx. Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in mail."

This would constitute my NOA1 correct? Thought the check would be cashed before or at the time of the notice?

Off to renew my passport :D

That's right, congrats on the NOA1. :) It is a bit odd that they haven't cashed your check yet though.

One question. The form has her fullname and DOB correctly. But the country of birth is has Unknown. Can you guys check your NOA1 to see if it says Unknown.?

I just received my NOA1 and my fiance's country of birth IS written on it. I don't know what it means if yours was not but I'm sure it is fine. You could try calling the customer service number that is given on the form just to be sure.... hmmm!

Just got my NOA1 in the mail as well. The Notice Date is August 11th. It also has the Country of Birth as Unknown. I don't think I would worry too much about it though. If they really don't know it a RFE will be on the way.

I called them today because I saw two problems. Her first name was missing an L and also the country of birth.

Guess what I learned? Well, she fixed the name and submitted the request. Then she said any other questions ? and I said yes the country of birth is not correct. Then she said let me try to fix it. Then she came back and said...hmm....I am so sorry, once it is submit it, you need to wait 30 more days to fix any other problems. So please call back in 30 days. I said sure....mmmmm..but is that an efficient system?
