I feel so annoyed right now! My application was filed in July with NOA1 date of Aug 3rd and I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet! Seems like so many people who filed after me has there's! I just want it to be over already!!!

Don't worry, I am not too far from you and I am still here. Best of all with a smile on my face :) because now we can see things are moving forward @VSC. I know you want your NOA2 yesterday so do I. Just hang in there few more days and everything will be alright. :star:

They have many people going over these. Person A might have a box with petitions from July 30 to August 5, Person B might have a box with petitions from August 10 to August 14. Person B might be faster than Person A. Which is why it looks like they are done out of order when in reality the boxes are picked up 'in order' if you will, they just get split up among slow, medium and fast workers.

We got notice yesterday on my phone and e-mail that we have been approved and it is in the mail. She and I are so elated and happy.

Next big thing is her interview. I wonder what date approx. the interview for her at the Moscow Embassy.

Thanks ..... for those still waiting I was very discouraged then good news. We were approved in 5 months just shy of it by one day.

From what I have been reading on the Moscow Embassy website, interview appointments have been running about 60 days.

You can find out the interview date on the Moscow website (don't know exactly where on the site, but it is there) much sooner than if you wait for her to be notified by Russian snail-mail, which is the only official notice you get.

***Caution-- Vent session***

Thats what I hate about this whole thing... when i do FINALLY get my NOA2, I still have about a 5-6 month wait for interview at my fiance's embassy. Make it over a year to get my loved one here! While others fly through the whole process in less than 6 months. SUCH BS! AND when my fiance gets here we will be seperated AGAIN! I have orders to report to my next base for training and then deployement. This process has been the worst goverment agency experience I've ever had! There seems to be NO accountabiliy!

I 100% agree that there is no accountability. Even sadder is we have strong brave people like you fighting for all the rights we have, which involves you putting your life on the line just to be told some BS answers and lead around like a blind man by that same government you fight to defend. The accountability falls squarely on The Obama Administration, Napolitano and Clinton for the mess at VSC, though we know those involved never will be held accountable because the rights and laws you fight for do not apply to the political elite.

But on a good note, VSC seems to be moving again and got a number of them done. Hopefully it stays going this time.

You'll receive a lettr from NVC in the next week that will include a number that looks something like MOSxxxxxxxx. You will be able to use this to see when your interview date is on the embassy website. I'm not sure, but you might also be able to get this info if and when you call NVC for status.

By the way, congrats Bobbie!

This is great news. Please everyone who is approved update your timelines and post here so we can gauge VSC's progress. What about you July people? It says 54 people are still waiting, did they just not update their timeline or is VSC skipping around?
