I think I'll have to wait for the hard copy to arrive to check my case status. The WAC number provided in the NOA1 email doesn't register yet on the USCIS website. Boo, I want something to check obsessively!

Bummer :( But your NOA1 is probably already on its way to you, sitting in a post office somewhere, waiting patiently to get sorted and sent off. Or maybe its in a postal truck on its way to your mailbox right now. Hopefully it comes soon, maybe even today!!

I hope so! Though it'll go to my fiancé's mailbox and not mine... I will make sure he checks as soon as he gets home! Sucks to be a country away and have to bug him to check things all the time. :lol:

Welcome to the group!! Congrats on your filing! It's so exciting isn't it? I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that forgot to send in the email/text notification thingie. I didn't really even know it existed until after I sent my petition in and then I felt stupid. :blush: Oh well! I'm definitely in agreement with you on the whole NOA1 thing, as soon as I have my number I swear I'm going to waste SO much time checking on my case! Even though I know its totally unreliable and touches don't even mean anything really. But anyway, good luck to you and hopefully everything goes really fast!! :luv:

Thanks! I know, I sent in my petition and then I read that all the "rules" changed the previous day and it was such a bummer. But then I thought, it isn't affecting the speed of the process at all. So don't worry! Things will progress normally (fingers crossed). Good luck to you, too! :)

oh hes the USC, got it. That sucks that you have to wait on your fiance to check his mailbox to get your letters. I'm the USC and I think if my situation was reversed I would have driven my fiance crazy by now bugging him incessantly about mail. He's a very patient person with the attitude like "it'll come when it comes and checking the mailbox 30 times a day isn't going to make it come any faster"

Waiting is hard :(

I sent my packet on August 10 and arrived at CSC on august 11 signed by M.Guerrero. Looking forward to have my check cleared next week...Let us keep each other updated with our status...Good luck to all of us!!!
