I know I am excited but nervous about POE. I am guessing the NOA2 will come when im there, i dont think it wil come before hand. January will take me to the 5 month mark - i just pray it comes before that

Hey you may be closer than you think wouldn’t December be your 5 month mark? I am waiting like everyone else and hope to see some more NOA2's come through soon. I cannot see my SO until February but I am hoping that will be here!

I can't wait to see FH again. Wish he was closer so a trip to him wouldn't be $1500 or more each time. But he'll be here soon at least! :)

From the timeline charts... I can predict they're going to pick up the pace soon. Because, well, they were busier during Summer, but they can't keep it like that for the rest of the year. They'll clearly start to approve more soon. Let's just not lose our hope/mind. :D

I'm really hoping I get my NOA2 by the end of this month, I have this silly fantasy of the visa being approved in December as I'm going to be visiting my Fiancee for 3 weeks at that time (53 days!). Would love to have her fly back with me.

I was realistically hoping for my NOA2 by Thanksgiving, but now I kind of feel like even that is being too optimistic. :( I'm still holding out hope but I guess I won't be surprised if I don't get it until December, though if we make it all the way to 2011 without an NOA2 I really will go bonkers. :wacko:

You won't go to 2011 without an NOA2! Of course I don't know for certain, but the odds are incredibly low that would happen. I'm hoping to get my NOA2 before Christmas. If I get to my next visit (Dec 31) and we are still waiting on this step it will be awful. Ideally we'll have an interview date by then.

Hang in there, everyone! Within the next few weeks I would think you would start to hear something... I updated Amy, but my case has been received at NVC and I was told that it shouldn't take more than a week to be tranferred to Nairobi. I'm going to call tonight to check on it again. The phone line at NVC is absolutely insane! I finally got thru on my 47th try and then waited for 37 minutes just to talk to an operator! It's waiting, waiting, waiting every step of the way! I'll keep everyone posted....hope you are all doing well :)

I got my case number and will try to call the Embassy tomorrow as the operator told me she thinks it should have already arrived. This is exciting, and you all should be excited, too-- because it shows that as soon as you get your NOA2 things will really get rolling. It's just a matter of getting over that big hump in the beginning. :thumbs:

Yes, they're pretty fast when it comes to K-1, just that the waiting until NOA2 is killing us softly. :D

Well as of last night my case has been received at the Embassy in Nairobi! Yay! We are aiming for an interview in about 3-4 weeks :)

That's just awesome. How faaaast! I just wish we could have our noa2s... July, August and September Filers, the group-fondle as Amy said.
