hey Nina! how did the truffle chicken turn out? if you said...I missed it

I haven't tried it yet. Last week, I was experimenting with tarragon. Interesting flavor, but fresh tarragon doesn't keep long in the fridge. I am experiment with quinoa this week. Truffles is next week. I found truffle butter in a jar at the supermarket, but the truffles sit in the bottom with the butter on top. I dont know if I should use that or look around for truffle paste.

Paperwork...they never make things easy, do they?

I think it depends what you plan to use it for. I've never actually used the paste. Only worked with fresh, oil, and butter. But we made the butter and oil with the pieces too small to shave pieces off. At home I usually use truffle oil. It has a longer shelf life and my family is pretty ####### when it comes to eating things so I only use it for me.

I guess I will try the truffle oil first. I dont want to spend a whole lot of money on a tiny jar of truffle butter just to experiment.

I had a doctor's appt today but cancelled it about an hour ago. I just don't want to go out in this heat.

it rained this morning and cooled it off some. the high today is only 91

I don't want to go out in the heat but I have stuff to do. I have to go to my old high school to get my vaccination records. I'm not sure why my dr doesn't have them.

only 91. It is supposed to be only 88 but it is humid. Now tomorrow is going down to 80 but starting Sunday through Tuesday it says it is going to be 94.
