Only if it's got an operating room. :P

Has anyone ever caught a sturgeon before? These fish fascinate me. I heard they can live to be hundreds of years old.

My questions is, did anyone ever bury the poor creature?? Is is common to just let dead animals rot where they died?

I did enjoy your story, however.

Ya...they just rot where they fall in the area of TX where I grew up, just like the dinosaurs, but that area was usually way back in the fields, not right in the middle of town. Usually just us kids would run across them when we were out riding our dirt bikes.

Life/death on display in wild wild Texas!...!...!

I feel sad for those animals, naturally. Bishop, did you ever own a horse in TX ?

I did not, but my family did...

I did not 'fit the bill' in TX. I was more of a hippie teenager and definitely not a cowboy. That is why the State of Texas finally had to 'run me outta there'

Sure have. That's where they get caviar from. Some folks have caught them on a rod and reel, too.

not many live that long because they catch them for caviar. there's a limit on how young you can catch them though.

eta: it's been awhile since I had a class about caviar (yeah...I really did lol) so I don't remember all of it
