oh btw...Nagi...my friend who had the surgery yesterday is doing well. they're keeping her in the hospital for a week! I didn't realize she'd have to be in there that long? must be because of her size?

I woke up early because I'm so sore from yesterday. We started switching all the upstairs bedrooms around. We got 3 rooms moved. Now we have to do the heaviest part and that's switching the office furniture to another room and then set up dh's office into the old office. Our new room is bigger but that's because it doesn't have a full closet. It's more like a coat closet. So we're going to use the closet in dh's office. Also this is the second week of my work outs on the elliptical machine at home and I think I over did it last night with moving things and then doing my work out. The soreness factor required a Valium so my muscles could relax. Sigh

I still haven't heard back from the government job yet. They could hire between the 7th and the 21st and I would hear something either way because I was in the top five candidates. Applying for a government job having to jump through all their hoops and then sweat it out waiting to hear if you got the job is nerve racking.

A cat may have nine lives but you have only one, take it easy. :thumbs::luv::luv::luv: Exercise in moderation, unless you plan to start behaving like Cinco. Do you really plan on undertaking a rigorous exercise regimen while operating on 3-4 hours of sleep a night ? :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

Amby, they have to watch for complications that may arise for the morbidly obese patient and it sounds like your friend was a borderline candidate in the first place.

Hey guys I'm at work :). Never thought I'd be happy to say that :lol:

I feel like a restaurant employee. I've been cooking/packing lunches snacks and breakfast from the time I get home until I go to bed.

Then there's Anna who goes "mmmmmm" every time she sees us eating till I feed her :wacko:

Then the classic "I want an egg mcsandwich for breakfast" this morning.

I hope everyone is doing better than me :lol:

5 - I haven't confirmed this but I think she may have been too big to have it done laparoscopically

Based on what you posted, I think that she was a risky candidate. I'm sure that she'll be fine, though.
