That's what I asked too, but dieting hasn't worked. My biggest problem with gastric bypass and gastric band surgeries is it's a quick fix. Not that it's not needed, but there's research that shows people lose it and gain it back because their mind hasn't changed. Their size has changed, but they're still the same cos they haven't changed. Some have and it's been successful for some people but there's a lot of cases where they gain the weight back within 5 years. I think a more gradual (but at that size weight loss is still very quick for awhile) weight loss regimine where you have to work your azz off for it is more beneficial. With that you're able to make it into a complete lifestyle change and have to work for it more.

I think for her it's got to the point where she can't exercise. She's been pretty big her whole life. We keep in touch but haven't seen each other for awhile. I saw a recent photo of her on her mom's FB last night and I was seriously shocked by how large she's become. I really really hope it works for her.

I think I ruined my day by taking sudafed. My nose is no longer stuffy but I have a pounding headache. That stuff spikes my blood pressure like crazy!
