If Nagi lived closer she would be invited for dinner every day :) I would give her big salads and she could watch me eat all sorts of animals :P

I googled "ranch mac n cheese" and I was convinced I would get a Paula Deen recipe BUT I DIDN'T!

Bless you, dear Amby! I would clean for you if you fed me, and even toil in your garden. I am a good servant, loyal , trustworthy, compassionate, and work cheap. I have years of experience, too.

Yes, even I have used ranch dressing in mac and cheese.....but word of caution, dilute it with water cos it become a bit overpowering.

after much internet research I've decided on bacon ranch mac n cheese. my family will inhale it (I think). I needed to decide tonight so I can get some stuff done. people are coming at noon and I really don't want to wake up early and cook a bunch of stuff. studying will happen again in a bit :)

Nagi - thanks for the tip! I think I'm just going to ranch-ish flavors instead of using ranch dressing. I guess I will decide once I get going and taste it.

Habibi went to Iftar last night and came home much earlier than last weekend. I wished I'd kind of gone with him for the problems it caused because then we had another long talk where he got really mad with me. However, much later we cuddled in bed and he told me how much he loved me even though I say stupid things. LOL! laughing.gif

On the other hand I also wished I'd kind of gone to the balloon festival where they glow at night and put on a show to music like with Christmas lights, even if I went alone, because it was so beautiful from the pictures my friends shared on fb.

Yup! Last weekend we have the pool operational so we always have people over. They come to winterize it later this week.

I made that mac n cheese, but didn't actually make it ranch. I added pepper bacon, red onion, garlic, sharp cheddar, parsley, and a bit of sour cream. Now I can just heat it tomorrow. I don't want to wake up early to cook if I don't have to.
