We discussed attempting to go to both. They break their fast right at sunset and the balloon lighting starts right at dusk. Last time dh went to the iftar at the Islamic Center he said he prayed for an hour with people then they ate. He didn't get home until 12.

Anyways he made the decision to go to the Islamic Center tonight without me. His friend that took him last time called him today and they made plans for him to pick him up. I don't want to go to the balloon lighting alone and it's pointless without taking him for his first time. Now I'm in a funky mood and not sure what to do with myself. I should do something just to distract myself and try to be positive and nonjudgmental but I don't feel like doing anything but laying in bed and pouting.
