it's soooo nice here I was shocked when I went outside and it was cool and breezy. I have all the windows open and everything in the house is blowing around.

It's nice here as well. Right now we have an annual festival going on called Spirit of Boise Classic. If you check the link out you'll see that for a series of days 100 hot air balloons gather in the park to launch. Tonight is the live music and GLOWING BALLOONS! It's really magical when there are over 100 hot air balloons glowing in the dark and doing a show for people. It's quite the experience.

I'm completely torn because it conflicts tonight with the Saturday weekly Islamic Center's iftar at dusk during Ramadan. Dh went last weekend and has been talking all week about me going with him tonight. It's the last weekend of Ramadan too. I've been wanting to take him to the glowing balloon's and just found out last night about the conflict. I don't know when he'll get to see the glowing balloons again if we move. So then we had a long talk last night for several hours and we didn't come to a compromise or better understanding of each other. If I go with him I'll be uncomfortable and unhappy. If he goes with me he'll have a new experience but it won't be as fulfilling as going to the last iftar and being around like minded people. Last time he went he had a really great time and he was happy for several days because his social meter was up. I'm so bummed. I feel really, really down & I can tell so is he.

O - I was going to ask the same thing Suz asked, any way you can make it to both things? Or split the time between the two?

My little cousins were here earlier. We made cookies, cupcakes, and guacamole. Weird combo. Somehow my shirt is now covered in pumpkin and avocado. Silly kids!

Now I must read stuff for classes. This school stuff takes a lot of time this year!
