I know I shouldn't really be happy about losing money BUT I am so freaking happy because I'm not cooking for the picky people anymore I really liked them but making things they'd all like was really a pain in the ####!

It was a bit of a mutual thing really. All last week I was trying to figure out how to fit them into my really strange schedule for this semester. I signed up for my classes late and ended up with strange times that wouldn't really work well for me going to houses to cook. We emailed back and forth about days/times and finally decided on one that I wasn't really that comfortable with. Yesterday she emailed me and said they were trying to come up with ways to save money and one thing they came up with was cutting out luxuries (I charge quite a bit) so I totally get it. They will still use me for parties and stuff, but it won't be a set thing every week. I was actually really relieved when she said that because I really wanted to quit but hate letting anyone down. I still have other people I cook for but that family was just too hard to deal with cos they're so picky and so big.

they would love crab cakes but I made them seafood last week. I try to rotate meats and different types of ethnic foods so they don't have a pile up of the same things. maybe wednesday though
