Thank you, blessed Brother5 :innocent:

Here is a wonderful verse which has alway brought me solace when trials were high and my faith was tested, my prayer is that you will lull yourself to a sleep in HIS arms tonight through repetitive recitation of this blessed verse:

"Unless the Lord builds the house,

its builders labor in vain.

Unless the Lord watches over the city,

The watchmen stand guard in vain.

In vain you rise early,

And stay up late,

Toiling for food to eat-

For he grants sleep to those he loves"

It is basically a verse which encourage us to focus on the Eternal. I think you do a good job of that! :thumbs:

As a point of polemics, here is a Buddhist verse which echoes the same sentiment:

"Vainly I sought the builder of my house, through countless lives,

I could not find him...

How hard it is to tread life after life!

But now I see you, O Builder!

And never again shall you rebuild my house.

I have snapped the rafters, split the ridgepole, and beaten out desire.

And now my mind is free..."

Such beautiful statement of 'rest'...would you agree?

Nagi ~ If you lived close I would make you dinner. :yes: Today I made a Peruvian Chicken Stew (stofado de pollo) with white rice. I could always just make you some rice w/ shellfish though Nagi!

not too much. my little cousins are coming over for a few hours (they just opened the door ahhhhhh!!!)

I'm trying to make a list for the store but can't decide what I want to eat the next few days. I'm going to take them to the store with me and hopefully they don't drive me nuts. Nothing else planned!
