Hello everyone! Few days after i got married, i applied for SSN and until now am still waiting for it cuz they said it takes atleast 4 weeks.

What should i put in the item asking for SSN, should i put none or pending? Do i need to wait for the SSN before mailing the I-485?

What is an Alien # and where can i find it? Is it the same alien number when i applied for I-129F?

Good afternoon.

You can find your A# on your NOA2. As for the SSN, I can't remember what we wrote off hand, I think "None" and that's fine since you don't have it yet. Please don't wait on a SSN to send in your AOS package! Best wishes on the rest of your journey! :thumbs:

the A# can also be found on the I94 and on the Visa itself, that's where I found Lily's, the only A# I found on the NOA2 was my own and I am the sponsor or Petitioner :)

02/27/2015: Check cashed

03/03/2015: I-797C, Notice of Action received

03/26/2015: Fingerprints done!

08/24/2015: Notice of Action received, Interview letter!

09/28/2015: Interview day, PASSED! Oath Ceremony same day :)
