Seriously? Of course they change it the very day that I send mine off to the VSC. I foolishly thought that since I checked YESTERDAY, I had the most updated instructions. I obviously didn't see this in time, will they automatically redirect my package or will they send it back?

Oh man, I wish i would have seen this before I took the package to the Post Office today! Does anyone know if they're going to forward them if they are sent to the original addresses? or will they just send them back to be re-sent?

And it looks like I'm not the only one who didn't see this, haha

From what I understand they've been forwarding them to Texas recently anyway, so there is a good chance that if you sent it yesterday or today it will still be forwarded.

oh phew! good to know, I would have been super bummed if they'd sent it back to me! It's pretty silly though, this means my package is going from MA -> VT -> TX -> VT ...whats the point of the middle man??

It is a bit silly, but I think they were already sending them to Texas anyway? That seems to be the experience of a lot of people lately, anyway.

Yea it sounds like they've been sending them to TX for processing or whatever but then they go right back to either CSC or VSC for the actual adjudication. I think Texas is just doing intake for some reason.

"Great". :P And I've just seen the I-129F is a new one. I don't think something changed on the form, but for our peace of mind we're going to complete the new one.

I think it's a good thing, though. Because some people have sent their petitions to VSC, per example, and they were so busy, they had to forward some of the petitions to TX, as far as I know. Maybe it will take less to process this way, if they go directly to Dallas. :P Maybe... :)

27 NOV 2019 - I-129F mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox

02 DEC 2019 - NOA1

23 MAR 2020 - NOA2

They have been doing the intake in TX since mid-may. They start the processing down there then send the packets back to either CSC or VSC. When that first started happening in May, Vermont really piked up the speed of approvals, so all in all, it looks like a good change.
