Happy Tuesday MENA!!!!... i pray everyone has a great day today... i would like to ask a favor for prayers for my cousin... her house burned down Sunday night... she was just at our house earlier that evening talking with my family... you just never know what is "around the corner"... i just thank God no one was hurt and they were able to get out in time... they have insurance which is a good thing but they don't have anywhere to live right now... just say a prayer for her and/or keep her in your thoughts... she is a nurse.. her name is Connie... thank you God bless everyone

Wonderful~ I am so sorry to hear about your cousin! She and her family are in my prayers! I am glad that nobody was hurt! That is so scary.

Well hubby went to stay with his friend last night. It was kind of strange not having him at home with me. All I can say is that my cat enjoyed sleeping with me all night long!! Whenever he gets ready to go to bed, he will open the bedroom door and she goes flying out of the bedroom! Hmmm I wonder if she slept with one open last night waiting on him???

I get to leave work early today and go register my son for school. School starts back up next Monday down here. Where did the summer go?????

I have to say though, Autumn is my favorite season of the year! I love the cooling of the air, leaves starting to fall, Halloween and oh yeah, the end of hurricane season!!!!!

Today is our last day off work. I am sun burnt and the heat outside hurts it worse so I'd rather be inside. We had a great time on vacation and put some pictures up on FB. It was spent with my grandparents in their RV and it was very peaceful. Hope everyone has a great day!

Andrea, knowing your cat was very happy!! Guess if the cat could talk she would say to your husband "isn't it

time to go to your friends"!! Smart little critters!

Wish we had "seasons" here. Take your pick...warmer or hotter!!! That's the seasons!!! I love the cool, dark,

dreary, rainy and cloudy days. We need to get out of the desert. The only way we really know when the months

are changing is the temp of our tap water! There's only a month or so that the "cold" water is actually cold.....rest

of the time it's lukewarm to warm....ugggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Best wishes on registering your son for school Andrea. It's getting to that season isn't it. Still at least a month and half left of summer here.

WB from your vacation Tamara. Sorry to hear Adam lost his ring in the river and you got a sunburn. Sounds like you had a good vacation over all though.

Good story about the tap water Jeanne. I didn't know that. Do you think you guys will ever move really?

Hubby is studying right now. I sent out a few more applications and did chores around the house. I made steel cut oats for the first time and they are delicious. My Uncle made this rice vinegar and sesame oil coleslaw type salad that is really delicious I can't stop eating it and I don't like coleslaw or at least the mayo type coleslaw. The onion in this batch is a little potent. It sucks when one onion overpowers the batch with it's potency.

Hey all my Grandma called and said there is a good chance we can see the Northern Lights tonight when it gets dark around 10 pm. They've been seeing them up in Spokane. I remember once in the past 10 years we've been able to see them here and it looks like it's happening again. COOL!

Yes Olivia, we will move. We are hoping for next year. He has so much on his plate now...finishing his last year at the University of Arizona and

studying for the GMAT. He is soooo hoping for New York city!!! His eventual goal is Wall Street. I love his determination and motivation. Whatever job or

PhD program he ends up with, he certainly earned it! He truly is living and earning the American dream.
